American General - 07/01/2018 - Secure Survivor GUL II - Premiums Increased

On average you can expect an increase of:
  • 21% for level pays
  • 23% for 10-pays
  • 26% for single pays
This change is specific to Secure Survivor GUL II only. This does not affect their single-life product Secure Lifetime GUL 3.

Principal - 07/01/2018 - Accumulated Value Enhancement on Principal Indexed UL Accumulation

The IUL Accumulation policies will begin guaranteeing a rate of 0.25%. In the past, it has been a non-guaranteed rate. It will be credited to policy years 11+ as long as the product's Fixed Account is earning more than the guaranteed minimum.

John Hancock - 05/14/2018 - Updates To The Term Life Portfolio and Rate Increases

Term rates increased 4%. New option to add Vitality as a term rider. The premiums will never increase due to lack of engagement. The rider charge is 3%.

The new rates are approved in all states, except FL. The last day to submit applications for old term rates is Friday, May 25th.
